Moyers: Report from Philadelphia, is a series of 90 three-minute visual essays on the Constitutional Convention of 1787. The essays were shot on location in Constitution Hall in Philadelphia and are brought to life with historical prints and more than 200 specially commissioned illustrations. The series draws upon a wealth of historical information, including the diaries, letter and records of the framers. It reminds the viewers that the road to self-governance was long and difficult, and that it continues today.
MOYERS: Report From Philadelphia was produced by Public Affairs Television and Alvin H. Perlmutter, Inc. in 1987.
